Ciência em Conversa: STAYAWAY COVID App

Ciência Viva, in partnership with INESC TEC and the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto (ISPUP), promoted the online cycle Ciência em Conversa. The sessions took place on September 10, 17 and 24, via YouTube. They contributed to the informed debate about the STAYAWAY COVID application.

Several Portuguese researchers participated in each session, in order to clear the citizens’ doubts: from privacy in contact tracing, to the effectiveness of using the STAYAWAY COVID. Everyone was invited to participate by sending questions that were answered live.
