From blood donation campaigns to school supplies donation initiatives, INESC TEC hub in Braga supported the local community in terms of public health and education.
In partnership with the Hospital de Braga, several members of the INESC TEC community participated in a blood donation campaign promoted to the blood bank of the local healthcare unit. Due to the sharp drop in national blood reserves, this initiative made it possible raise awareness of this issue among the employees, while increasing said reserves.
More recently, the Este S. Pedro school received several school supplies, donated by INESC TEC. This donation – including notebooks, pens and lanyards (excess material of completed R&D projects) – will increase the number of resources available to the students.
