In this episode, we visited TRIBE – the Laboratory of Robotics and IoT for Smart Precision Agriculture and Forestry at INESC TEC.

In this facility, researchers develop robotic solutions and intelligent systems for agricultural and forestry. The goal? Using technology to improve precision, embodying the principle of “right height, right quantity, right place.” We talked, for example, about Modular-E, a robot used in vineyards, which has won awards and is a great example of how robotics and the Internet of Things can revolutionise this sector.

But it’s not the only one; and, in this conversation with researchers Leandro Rodrigues, Pedro Moura, and Luís Santos, we will uncover many other solutions.
