Disclosing opportunities for non-refundable financing, available under the European project DIH², in order to modernise its production systems through robotics and automation solutions was the purpose of PRODUTECH ROBOT DAYS, an event held at INESC TEC’s iiLAB, on 24 October.
Besides the funding possibilities, the participants of the initiative were able to get to know more about the innovative solutions and industrial application cases in robotics, industrial automation and support services. António Paulo Moreira, responsible for iiLab, was in charge of the welcoming session. Germano Veiga, from the Centre for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (CRIIS), presented the application cases installed at iiLab and Ana Barros, from the Centre for Enterprise Systems Engineering (CESE), presented the iMan Norte Hub – Digital Innovation Hub for Customer-Driven Manufacturing @ NORTE to participants.
The action was held under the scope of the DIH² project, a European programme that aims at promoting the use of robotic solutions in order to increase the agility in production of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
The DIH² project is co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme through the funding contract No 824964.
