The researcher of INESC TEC’s Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support (LIAAD) and Full Professor in the of Department of Mathematics of the University of Porto, Alberto Adrego Pinto, has just published a special volume of the journal Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering (MBE) alongside Professor Jorge Zubelli, from the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The special issue is entitled Mathematical Methods in the Biosciences celebrates the 70th anniversary of Professor David Rand of the University of Warwick, the United Kingdom. The issue contains works in the fields of system biology, epidemiology, immunology, cell differentiation, cancer modelling, game theory and other related areas.
