Over four weeks, participants in the 2025 edition of INESC TEC’s Summer Internships will be able to engage in research and development activities and contribute to solving real-world problems. Applications close on 19 May.
INESC TEC’s Summer Internship programme is back, and this year, over 70 internship topics are available for undergraduate and master’s students to apply for. From theory to practice, this initiative offers candidates a chance to explore the world of engineering and science while making a tangible impact.
In addition to joining one of INESC TEC’s 13 Research Centres, students will also have the opportunity to work on challenges proposed by the institute’s partner organisations—such as companies, hospitals, or the national mint (Casa da Moeda). Where applicable, participants may also gain academic credit towards a curricular internship required for graduation or even develop ideas for a future master’s dissertation.
Applications must be submitted on the INESC TEC website by 19 May. The results will be announced on 6 June, and the internships will begin on 30 June.
