What have you been doing professionally since you left INESC TEC?
Since I left INESC TEC, I’ve been carrying out science communication tasks for several clients all over Europe. The most common duties are written communication (development of long science articles, with a significant storytelling component), content development for social media, and presentations at conferences targeting scientists and other agents interested in learning more about science communication. My main clients are the European Space Agency (ESA), Chemistry World, and other national and international journals.
How did your experience at INESC TEC contributed to your professional history?
The work I’ve been developing with the ESA has been quite rewarding, and the activities carried out at INESC TEC helped me to develop the skills necessary to produce interesting and engaging content for social media.
When you think about INESC TEC, what comes to your mind?
Stories (they’re part of my daily activities when managing Instagram), science and strategy.
