  • Years when you began working at INESC TEC and when you left2012 – 2018
  • Centre at INESC TEC where you worked: Centre for Telecommunications and Multimedia (CTM)

What have you been doing professionally since you left INESC TEC?

I expanded my technical skills working as Employeneur at TMC, and providing Consultation to Sustainable Waste Recycle Management at VITO. I also worked on Automotive Production at AGP eGlass, Defect-free Manufacturing at Deltaray, and GNSS Satellite Licensing at Septentrio. At the moment, I’m working as a consultant at a Chip Fabrication Lab at IMEC, in Belgium.

How did your experience at INESC TEC contributed to your new professional history?

INESC TEC allowed to improve my experience, by providing me with the opportunity to work at the Centre for Telecommunications and Multimedia (CTM), under the Supervision of Jaime Cardoso, who’s also my PhD supervisor and contributed to an excellent learning experience. I had the chance to work in several projects promoted by India and Portugal, with Vladimiro Miranda, and to be part of several network and collaboration activities for the EU-India Water Call, with Eduardo Silva from the Centre for Robotics and Autonomous Systems (CRAS). These actions allowed me to work with state-of-the-art technologies and establish scientific collaborations, a feather in my cap.

When you think about INESC TEC, what comes to your mind?

Proven leader in technology development and enabler of technology transfer to build the new market needs; open leadership with a bottom to top approach, with inclusive growth; best platform for young talents, allowing them to showcase and develop their scientific skills.
