  • Centre at INESC TEC where you worked: HumanISE

What have you been doing professionally since you left INESC TEC?

After leaving INESC TEC, I became a research fellow at the Centre for Earth and Space Research of the University of Coimbra, where I worked on software development for the control and download of data from a server. Currently, as a Physics PhD student, I work on the THOR-SR project at the University of Coimbra, which will integrate the ESA’s Space Rider.

How did your experience at INESC TEC contributed to your professional history?

Working at INESC TEC helped me realise that I really enjoy research work, especially when applied to satellites. It made me rediscover an old passion for instrumentation for Space, and it allowed me to understand that the best path was to carry out a PhD.

When you think about INESC TEC, what comes to your mind?

When I think of INESC TEC, I think of support and opportunities. It was a fantastic year, in which I had the possibility to explore new areas, in a multidisciplinary institution that allowed me to broaden my horizons.
