  • Service at INESC TEC where you worked: International Relations Service (SRI)

What have you been doing professionally since you left INESC TEC?

I am a trainee at the Cabinet of the Portuguese Commissioner; my role includes preparing briefings, drafting reports, accompanying the Commissioner to meetings and events and conducting policy analysis.

How did your experience at INESC TEC contributed to your professional history?

My experience at INESC TEC enriched my understanding of EU policies in Research and Innovation, EU funding opportunities for researchers, and the strategic framework guiding the EU’s international collaborations in this field. Moreover, my position in the SRI presented a great opportunity to develop my drafting and reporting skills, which now play a key role in my day-to-day responsibilities.

When you think about INESC TEC, what comes to your mind?

What I cherish the most from my time at INESC TEC was the opportunity to learn so much about areas I knew nothing about and immerse myself in a multicultural environment without even leaving my city.  Above all, I remember the great people I had the privilege of meeting and the wonderful lunches we shared.
