INESC TEC collected plastic bottle caps to support little girl from Braga who suffers from a rare disease

The members of INESC TEC’s High-Assurance Software Laboratory (HASLab), at UMinho, joined forces to collect bottle caps to support a girl from Braga suffering from leukodystrophy, a rare, degenerative, and progressive disease.

This campaign will help the child’s family to cover the expenses of daily therapies, i.e., physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and hydrotherapy, as well as to purchase supplements from abroad, suitable for the continuous improvement of Lara.

The Princesa Lara campaign is available on digital platforms, still going strong, with several collection points destined to gather the highest possible amount of bottle caps.
