We breath, eat, walk, study, work, stroll. All these activities require energy. But do we know how much energy is needed until a certain product reaches our homes? Or how much energy we need to go from point A to point B? If we knew, would we be willing to change our habits and decisions?

We challenged Zenaida Mourão, INESC TEC researcher, to explain us why we need energy and how we can move towards efficiency while preserving sustainability.

We also talked about energy poverty, its associated factors and impact on people’s lives; and we got to know the EcoVale project, with INESC TEC involvement, and how it will promote a set of actions to foster energy efficiency and mitigate energy poverty.
