INESC TEC supported the sustainable growth at the QSP Summit

INESC TEC attended the QSP Summit 2022, this year under the motto “Building Sustainable Growth”; the event took place between June 29 and 30, at Exponor (Matosinhos).

Considered by many the most relevant management and marketing conference in Europe, the 15^th edition of QSP Summit started on June 28: the Opening Ceremony took place at the Teatro Municipal do Porto – Rivoli, with the special participation of António Horta Osório, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIAL and a key figure in the financial services industry.

For two days, the organising committee invited national and international experts to address the different dimensions of sustainability – economic, social, technological, cultural, and environmental – while promoting debates aimed at companies, managers and professionals.

INESC TEC participated in the exhibition area of the event, presenting the work developed within the scope of the innovation initiatives called TEC4 and the Institute’s strategy regarding innovative contributions to enrich the consumers’ dynamics.

The feedback of the team that represented INESC TEC at the QSP Summit, composed of Augustin Olivier, José Nina Andrade, and Nuno Campos (TECPARTNERSHIP), was quite positive, namely because of the high number of contacts made. “INESC TEC’s participation in this event was part of the work that has been carried out to explore economic areas where the Institute has proven competencies, but is not yet a national reference, like Digital Marketing, one of the themes of this event”, said Nina de Andrade.

In addition to the exhibition component, with close to 140 brands, this year’s programme also included opportunities for knowledge, networking and experiences, a sunset party and new special sessions with current topics and debates between speakers of national and international renown, promoted by entities like Lionesa, Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto and Turismo do Porto and Norte de Portugal.
