The General Council approved the 2020 Activities and Budget Plan

On December 12^th, the ordinary meeting of INESC TEC’s General Council took place, in which the 2020 Activities and Budget Plan was unanimously approved. In this meeting, INESC TEC’s participation in the international association EARTO – European Association of Research and Technology Organizations and in the CoLABs “Smart Energy Lab – Association”, “BUILT CoLAB” and “Vasco da Gama CoLAB” was ratified.

Also concerning INESC TEC’s participation in companies and other institutions, UBIRIDER‘s capital increase and change into a public limited company, as well as the sale of INESC TEC’s participation in LTPLabs Lda, were also ratified.

The Board also reported on the latest developments concerning its participation in EIT Manufacturing to the General Council. Finally, José Tribolet, President of INESC, announced the celebration of INESC’s 40^th anniversary in 2020, inviting INESC TEC and all its associates to participate in the events that will mark said anniversary.

More than a historical acclaim, the events will highlight the existence and ability of R&D institutions and act a statement about our purpose and role in society.
