Journal founded by INESC TEC researcher receives SCOPUS indexing

The Journal of Innovation Management, a scientific publication founded by João José Pinto Ferreira – researcher at INESC TEC’s Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (CITE) – in 2013, received the SCOPUS indexing.

“JIM has been indexed by PROQUEST, DOAJ, IBSS and OPENAIRE for several years, in geographical areas like Norway, Finland and Australia (Australian Business Deans Council – ADBC). However, there are many universities around the world that favour SCOPUS, namely when considering the publications of applicants to teaching and research positions. For this reason, this indexing is particularly important”, said INESC TEC researcher João José Pinto Ferreira.

The JIM is an open-access (no publication fee), multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal, hosting a cutting-edge debate on innovation and its management, whatever form and facet it takes, and embracing the technological features, managerial processes, and impacts of innovation. In order to favour the connection to industry, JIM publishes Research Articles, Letters from Industry, Academia and Standardisation and Book Reviews.

The journal has published 216 articles over the past years, with an average of four-five articles per issue.

JIM was co-founded in September 2013 by João José Pinto Ferreira, Anne-Laure Mention (RMIT University, Australia) and Marko Torkkeli (Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland).

The INESC TEC researcher mentioned in this news piece is associated with UP-FEUP.
